Sonia Napravnik, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina's Gillings School of Global Public Health. Her research focuses on HIV/AIDS epidemiology, chronic disease management, substance use, and healthcare outcomes in vulnerable populations. She leads studies addressing comorbidities in people with HIV, including cardiovascular health, cardiometabolic disorders, and adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART).
