Sonia Gera

Dr. Sonia Gera is a UKRI Research Fellow in the Department of Materials at Imperial College London. Her research focuses on developing nature-inspired, biocompatible materials to address bone repair challenges while preventing infections. She aims to create bioadhesives that replace traditional metal implants, accelerate healing, and eliminate bacterial growth without antibiotics.
