Dr. Solomon Buckman is an Associate Professor in the School of Earth, Atmospheric and Life Sciences (SEALS) at the University of Wollongong. He holds a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Hong Kong (1996-2000). His research focuses on tectonic evolution and mineral systems, with expertise in subduction complexes, porphyry/epithermal deposits, and Quaternary stratigraphy. He has conducted fieldwork in regions like the Himalaya, Australia, Chile, and Central Asia.
