Sofie Peters

Sofie Peters is a Researcher at Chalmers University of Technology, affiliated with the Department of Technology Management and Economics. Her research focuses on Hospitals at Home (HaH), investigating how healthcare can be transitioned from hospitals to home environments.

She works on the Development of hospital care at home project, which aims to remove implementation barriers for home care solutions. The project involves collaboration with Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Södra Älvsborg Hospital, Skaraborg Hospital, Skåne University Hospital Malmö, and the Care at distance research group at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Physical Resource Theory. Partners include the Innovation Platform in Region Västra Götaland and VINNOVA (Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation).

Her 2024 publication, Moving hospital care to the patient's home: Implications for value co-creation and its actors, explores the transformative potential of HaH models in redefining care delivery systems and optimizing stakeholder engagement. This work intersects with fields such as digital health, remote patient monitoring, and sustainable healthcare practices.
