Skip Shelly is an Associate Teaching Professor at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute (HCII) at Carnegie Mellon University. With over 30 years of experience, he leads strategic design projects in sectors like healthcare, finance, and defense, and mentors designers, researchers, and product managers. He teaches courses such as Interaction Design Fundamentals, Advanced Interaction Design, and Service Design, and directs the MHCI Capstone program, collaborating with industry partners including Bloomberg, NASA, Meta, and Amazon Music.
