Siv Pedersen is a Research Fellow in the Department of Marketing at Copenhagen Business School, where she commenced her PhD studies in August 2022. Her research investigates consumer responses to artificial intelligence, focusing on perceived control dynamics and their impact on judgment and decision-making processes. She teaches Marketing for the HA almen erhvervsøkonomi program.
Her educational qualifications include:
- MSc in Consumer Science with a minor in Technology and Innovation from the Technical University of Munich
- BA in Intercultural Marketing Communication from Copenhagen Business School
Prior to her PhD, she gained four years of professional experience in data-driven marketing and analytics within the German software and consulting industry, complemented by a research assistant role at the International School of Management in Munich.
Her primary research domains encompass Artificial Intelligence, Consumer Behavior, Choice Architecture, Marketing Analytics and Big Data, Experimental Design, and Social media, utilizing quantitative methodologies like experimentation and big data analysis to explore technology-mediated consumer psychology.
