Siv Oltedal

Siv Oltedal is a Professor at the Department of Social Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Stavanger. Her academic work focuses on comparative social work, family dynamics in welfare systems, and gender perspectives. She has conducted extensive international research across Norway, Chile, Lithuania, Russia, and other countries, examining child welfare practices, professional decision-making, and the intersection of social work with legal frameworks.
