Siri Lie Olsen

Siri Lie Olsen is an Associate Professor in botanical ecology at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and scientific advisor at the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA). Her research focuses on anthropogenic impacts like climate change, land-use change, and invasive species on plant biodiversity across individual, population, and community levels. She teaches courses on Plant Diversity (BOT100) and Fungi, Lichens and Bryophytes (BOT210).

Her work examines how climate change affects plant-trophic interactions and community dynamics in vulnerable ecosystems, with fieldwork spanning diverse ecological contexts.
