Sinan ÇAKIR

Sinan ÇAKIR is a part-time Instructor in the Department of History at Uskudar University. He holds a PhD from Istanbul 29 Mayıs University (2023) and an MA from the same institution (2019), alongside a BA from Boğaziçi University (2016). His research focuses on Ottoman parliamentary history, historical disasters, and political biography. He has published his doctoral thesis as The First Deputies of the Ottoman Empire (2024) and translated major historical works like Katja Hoyer’s Blood and Iron and Violet Moller’s The Journey of Knowledge in 2024.
