Sinan Unver is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Koç University's College of Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California-Berkeley (2003) and a B.S. from Middle East Technical University (1997). His research focuses on Algebraic Geometry.

He previously received the Charles B. Morrey Jr. award from UC Berkeley in 1999.
