Professor Sin Yi Cheung is a Professor of Sociology and Director of Research at Cardiff University's School of Social Sciences. She is a Fellow of the Learned Society of Wales (2022) and serves on editorial boards for journals like BSA Sociology and ASA Sociology of Education. Her research focuses on social inequalities, migration, ethnicity, and refugee integration. She has held visiting positions at Stanford University and Keio University.
