Dr. Simone van der Plas is a Visiting Fellow at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, affiliated with the Faculty of Behavioural and Movement Sciences, Clinical Child and Family Studies department. She also holds fellowships at APH - Quality of Care and LEARN! - Child rearing. Her research focuses on intellectual disability care, professional development, and workplace learning, with particular attention to involuntary care reduction and quality of life assessment in vulnerable populations.
