Her research interests span the sociology of science, science governance, climate communication, and the role of scientific knowledge in public discourse and social movements. She investigates how scientific evidence is framed, used, and challenged in climate activism, media, and policy, with a strong emphasis on narrative analysis and ethnographic methods. Her work critically examines the interplay between science, politics, and publics in shaping climate futures.
Recent publications reveal a strong focus on visible scientists, academic air travel, dramaturgical aspects of climate protests, collaborative ethnography, and the framing of climate futures across media and movements. Her work consistently explores the legitimacy of science in public discourse, the depoliticization of climate narratives, and the co-production of knowledge across social worlds.
