Simone Maxand

Simone Maxand is an Assistant Professor of Statistics (with Tenure Track) at Europa Universität Viadrina and a Faculty Member at the Berlin School of Economics. Her research focuses on statistical methods and their applications in climate economics and sustainability.

Her work spans econometric modeling, time series analysis, and statistical software development, with notable contributions to structural vector autoregressive (SVAR) models and copula analysis. She has taught courses including Data Science, Econometric Methods, and Time Series Analysis at institutions such as Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, University of Helsinki, and University of Göttingen.
