Simone Henriksen is an Associate Lecturer in Law at the University of the Sunshine Coast's School of Law and Society. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours), Graduate Diploma in Practical Legal Training, and Bachelor of Pharmacy. Admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland, she is currently a PhD candidate researching regulation of alcohol and other drug treatment services in Australia.
Her research focuses on health law and pharmaceutical regulation with specific interests in:
- Legal frameworks for alcohol and drug treatment services
- Pharmaceutical policy and regulatory compliance
- Risk management in healthcare
- Intellectual property issues in pharmaceuticals
