Simona Grassi is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at King's Business School, King's College London. Previously, she held positions as Assistant Professor at HEC Lausanne (University of Lausanne) and served as a Harkness Fellow at Harvard Medical School, Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute, and Fulbright Fellow at Boston University.
Her education includes a PhD in Economics from the University of York, an MSc in Public Economics from the same institution, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Milano.
Grassi's research focuses on Applied Microeconomics, particularly in Health Economics and Public Economics. Her work combines theoretical models with empirical and experimental methods to address issues in healthcare provision, policy design, and consumer behavior. Recent studies include analyzing organ donation decisions, cognitive effects of anxiety treatments, and strategic competition dynamics.
