Simona Celi is a senior scientist at Fondazione Toscana G. Monasterio and holds academic roles as Adjunct Professor at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Pisa, and Lecturer at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. She directs the Bioengineering Unit and BioCardioLab, founded in 2008, and has led multiple national/international research projects as technical PI. Her research focuses on integrating in-vivo/ex-vivo data with in-silico models using advanced image processing and finite element analysis.
