Simon Young is a Professor of Law and Justice at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) since 2014 and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Australia (UWA) Law School. He holds a PhD from UWA, alongside qualifications in law and music. His research focuses on administrative law, Indigenous law and policy (particularly native title), and constitutional law. He has authored multiple books and articles, including works recognized with prestigious awards.
He serves as Deputy Director of UniSQ's Centre for Heritage and Culture and holds roles at the University of Queensland and the First Peoples of Australia Law Review.
