Simon Scheller

Simon Scheller is a postdoctoral researcher at the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy (MCMP) since October 2017. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Bamberg (2017), with a focus on political philosophy and agent-based modeling, and degrees in Political Science (M.A.), Economics (M.Sc.), and Philosophy & Economics (B.A.).

• Research: Analyzes collective decision making in democratic societies using formal and computational modeling combined with philosophical analysis.
• Methodology: Integrates computational models with experimental designs and large-scale online data.
• Current Projects: Strategic manipulation in deliberation, emergence of trust, and interconnections between rationality, bargaining, and inequality.
