Simon Reader

Simon Reader serves as an Associate Professor at McGill University, based in the Stewart Biology Building (Room N7/12). His academic work centers on interdisciplinary research spanning Conservation, Ecology, Evolution, and Behaviour.

His primary research focuses on:

• Mechanisms of innovation across animal species
• Cross-species social learning dynamics
• Evolutionary consequences of behavioral plasticity
• Conservation applications of behavioral ecology
• Human-animal cognitive parallels in learning processes
