Simon Möller is a doctoral student and research associate at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) and a lecturer at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). His research focuses on Science and Technology Studies (STS), innovation in building technologies, and human-technology interaction in energy systems. He is part of LMU's 'Local Fit' working group, addressing sustainable development, climate adaptation, and energy transition challenges.
Education: Master's in Sociology and Economics from LMU (2016). Prior to academia, he worked as a project supervisor at Arqum GmbH in environmental consulting (2016–2018). At LMU since 2018, he has contributed to projects like 'EffKom,' investigating energy-efficient heating systems and stakeholder dynamics in smart home technologies. Since 2023, he teaches sociology courses at TUM’s BA program 'Vocational Education.'
