Simon Laros

Simon Laros is a researcher at the Europa-Universität Flensburg, affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Institute for Environmental, Social and Human Sciences and the Department of Energy and Environmental Management. His work focuses on renewable energy systems, climate protection strategies, and socio-economic analysis in transnational contexts, particularly the German-Danish border region. He has contributed to EU projects such as Furgy (Future Renewable Energy), Klimapakt Flensburg, and Large-Scale Bioenergy Lab, as well as third-party funded initiatives like Mena Select. He holds a Diplom (MSc) in Economic Engineering with specialization in Energy and Environmental Management.
