Simon Innvær

Simon Innvær is an Associate Professor at OsloMet - storbyuniversitetet, affiliated with the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Department of Social Work, Child Welfare and Social Policy. His research focuses on the intersection of social work, policy implementation, and knowledge translation within the welfare state context. He is actively involved in the Globalisation and Social Sustainability research group.

Dr. Innvær's scholarly work spans multiple dimensions of social policy and practice. His research examines theory of science applications in social work, transference of knowledge between research and practice, and social politics within contemporary welfare systems.
