Simon Hunter

Simon Hunter is Professor of Applied Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University, leading the Child and Adolescent Health research group. His work integrates developmental psychology and mental health, applying stress/coping frameworks to wellbeing. Current projects examine mental illness stigma, adolescent loneliness, and violence reduction through collaborations with Mental Health Foundation, See Me, and Australian universities.

He serves as Associate Editor for Stigma and Health and International Journal of Bullying Prevention. Research outputs include over 80 peer-reviewed articles on victimization, help-seeking barriers, and mental health interventions.
