Simon Holdermann

Simon Holdermann is a Lecturer at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Cologne. He specializes in Media Anthropology and Post-Colonial Studies, with a focus on audiovisual methods and collaborative ethnographic practices. Holdermann actively contributes to the Cologne-Siegen Masterclass for Media Ethnography, organizing workshops that explore experimental approaches like camera ethnography, multimodal storytelling, and decolonizing research frameworks.
