Simon Feulner is a Researcher at the FIM Research Institute for Information Management since February 2021. He holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Bayreuth and dual M.Sc. degrees in Business Informatics (Otto-Friedrich University of Bamberg) and Business Administration (University of Bayreuth). His research focuses on blockchain, AI, and digital identity management. Beyond academia, he has practical experience in IT service management and IT controlling at an international food industry company, and volunteered as a sports coach.
Feulner’s research addresses decentralized information systems, digital trust, and blockchain applications in governance and business. Notable projects include evaluating Germany’s FLORA blockchain system for asylum management and analyzing the EU Digital Identity Wallet.
