Simon Anderson

Simon Anderson is Professor of Population Health and Cardiovascular Sciences at the University of the West Indies and Honorary Reader at the University of Manchester. As Director of the George Alleyne Chronic Disease Research Centre, he investigates diabetes, cardiovascular epidemiology, and public health nutrition in Caribbean populations.

His research analyzes disease burdens attributable to dietary factors, health disparities in Small Island Developing States, and chronic disease management strategies. Publications focus on global nutrition patterns, metabolic health, and violence prevention.
