Silvio Sticher

Silvio Sticher is a Lecturer at the Institute of Tourism and Mobility (ITM) within the Lucerne School of Business at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU). He holds expertise in economics and data science applications, with research focusing on transportation policy, cartel detection, and public infrastructure procurement. Before academia, he served as Head of Strategic Pricing (2016–2022) and Pricing Specialist (2014–2016) at SBB (Swiss Federal Railways).

Education includes a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Bern (2011–2013), a Master's in Economics (University of Bern, 2008–2010), and a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of Bern and Nanyang Technological University (Singapore, 2004–2008). He also taught at Bern University of Applied Sciences.
