Silvia Vicini

Silvia Vicini is a Full Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry (DCCI) of the University of Genova. Her research focuses on Industrial Chemistry, Polymer Science, and Nanotechnology, with applications in Cultural Heritage Conservation and Environmental Chemistry.

She teaches courses such as Chemistry for Restoration, Chemistry of Materials for Restoration, and Pollutants and Their Environmental Impact. Her recent work includes developing biopolymeric materials for sustainable applications in conservation and biomedical fields.
