Key themes include care, masculinities, and the socio-technical dimensions of energy justice. She is currently developing a project on the quantification of 'impact' in off-grid solar repair and writing a book on repair labor in energy-poor settings.
Notable works include studies on electrical repair masculinities (2025), feminist energy systems (2023), and post-disaster reconstruction in Emilia, Italy (2015–2016). Her work has been funded by the ESRC and recognized with the LSE Lucy Mair Prize.
