Silvia Liverani

Silvia Liverani is a Reader in Statistics and Head of the Centre in Data Science, Statistics and Probability at Queen Mary University of London (School of Mathematical Sciences). Her research focuses on Bayesian methods, spatial-temporal modeling, and computational statistics, with applications in epidemiology, environmental health, and genetics. She leads projects on biodiversity analysis and spatial health data, collaborating with institutions like the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew and the Alan Turing Institute.

Education: PhD in Bayesian Clustering from the University of Warwick (2009).
