Silvia Behrens

Silvia Behrens is a Research Associate at the University of Glasgow's School of Social & Political Science, contributing to the ESRC-funded Scottish Centre for Administrative Data Research (SCADR). Her work focuses on educational exclusions, youth activism, migration, and caregiving. She holds a PhD in Social Policy from the University of Strathclyde and has postdoctoral experience at Glasgow Caledonian University's WiSE Centre.

Research Interests: Her key areas include youth political participation, migrant populations, education-inequality links, and policy analysis. Recent projects explore agency perceptions among climate, BLM, and queer feminist activists through focus groups.
