Silvia Alessi-Severini

Dr. Silvia Alessi-Severini is a Senior Scholar at the University of Manitoba's College of Pharmacy and Adjunct Scientist at the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy. Her pharmacoepidemiological research examines medication use for conditions including schizophrenia, depression, ADHD, autism, and hepatitis C.

Her investigations explore diverse therapeutic areas including smoking cessation agents, antibiotic risks in early development, and healthcare delivery for refugees. She collaborates with the Canadian Network for Observational Drug Effect Studies on antipsychotic and antidiabetic agent safety.

Alessi-Severini has received the Leslie Buggey Professorship and Ed Kroeger Mentorship Award, recognizing her contributions to pharmaceutical education and student development.
