Signe Bremer

Signe Bremer is a Senior Lecturer in Social Work specializing in queer and trans studies. Her research explores transgender healthcare access, historical community formation, and feminist methodologies in social work education.

Publications examine transgender narratives in medical contexts, 1960s Swedish queer media, and safety in urban spaces. Current work develops curriculum frameworks for supporting trans and non-binary populations in social work practice.

Dr. Bremer's scholarship combines critical theory with community-engaged approaches to advance LGBTQ+ inclusive social work education and policy.
