Siew Chan

Siew Chan, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the Mike Cottrell College of Business at the University of North Georgia. Her research bridges accounting, information systems, and behavioral science, focusing on decision-making processes, tax compliance, cybersecurity ethics, and educational technology in accounting.

• Research Trends: Recent work examines tax audit risk, game-based learning in accounting education, cybersecurity breach responses, and decision support system (DSS) effectiveness. Themes include ethical judgment, corporate governance, and IT business value.
