Sierra Walton

Sierra Walton is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Palm Beach Atlantic University, affiliated with the Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy and the Pharmacy (PR) department. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy in 2023 and completed her Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Gregory School of Pharmacy. Her clinical experience spans Wellington Regional Medical Center, Elite Coastal Health Care, and the West Palm Beach VA, with a focus on inpatient care, transitions of care, and ambulatory care. In May 2024, she participated in a medical mission trip to Honduras through the Gregory Center for Medical Missions.

During her residency, Dr. Walton conducted research on Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Liver Disease, emphasizing pharmacist-led screening and interventions. She actively contributed to Pharmacy and Therapeutics committees, addressing formulary considerations, medication use evaluations, and medication safety updates. Prior to her faculty role, she served as a resident and guest lecturer at the Gregory School of Pharmacy. Her leadership in pharmacy organizations, including President of the Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International (CPFI) and Rho Chi Honor Society, underscores her commitment to academic and community engagement.
