Sidney Hecht

Sidney Hecht is Professor in the School of Molecular Sciences and Director of the Biodesign Center for Bioenergetics at Arizona State University. His research focuses on diseases linked to energy production defects, with significant contributions to cancer therapeutics including the development of Hycamtin (topotecan) for ovarian/lung cancer and mechanistic studies of bleomycin.
