Dr. Siddharth Tripathi is a Visiting Lecturer at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy, University of Erfurt, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of International and Security Affairs at Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in Berlin. His research focuses on non-Western perspectives in International Relations (IR), peace and conflict studies, and the foreign policies of India and the European Union (EU). He holds a PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, where his doctoral work examined the EU’s civilian crisis management missions in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Afghanistan.

Currently, he is co-editing the Rowman and Littlefield Handbook on Peace and Conflict Studies: Perspectives from the Global South(s) with Prof. Solveig Richter.
Dr. Tripathi’s work bridges academic inquiry with policy relevance, addressing topics such as the EU’s crisis response mechanisms, India’s diplomatic strategies, and climate-sensitive peacebuilding in conflict zones like Afghanistan.
