Siddharth Prakash Singh

Siddharth Prakash Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Operations & Technology group at the University College London School of Management. He joined UCL in 2019 after completing his PhD in Operations Management at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business. Prior to his PhD, he worked as an Associate at the Boston Consulting Group. His education includes a B.Tech and M.Tech in Industrial Engineering from IIT Kharagpur.

His research explores how technological advancements impact business strategies and regulatory frameworks, with a focus on equitable resource allocation, energy policy, and pandemic healthcare management. He analyzes strategic interactions between regulators, firms, and consumers to inform socially responsible management decisions.

His recent work includes studies on delay management in queuing systems, community solar business models, and pandemic capacity planning. Notable articles address tariff structures for utilities with rooftop solar and agricultural economics in rural India.
