Siddha Pimputkar

Siddha Pimputkar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Lehigh University's P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science. He leads the MATS Group, which focuses on developing novel materials for sustainable devices. In 2022, he was appointed the endowed Harold Chambers Junior Professorship in recognition of his research accomplishments.

Research Focus

Pimputkar's group specializes in materials synthesis for next-generation electronics, with emphasis on:

• Nitride compound development
• GaN single-crystal boule growth
• Advanced material solutions for sustainability
