Siayareh Rambally

Dr. Siayareh Rambally is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in non-malignant blood disorders. She is affiliated with the Division of Hematology/Oncology and actively contributes to clinical care, research, and education. Dr. Rambally graduated with a biochemistry degree from Southern Methodist University, earned her MD from UT Southwestern, and completed residency and fellowship training in internal medicine and hematology/oncology at Baylor College of Medicine. She is board-certified in hematology and oncology.

Her research focuses on sickle cell disease, bleeding disorders, and thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP). She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, including case reports and studies on novel treatments for autoimmune-mediated blood disorders. Dr. Rambally is committed to medical education, mentoring students, residents, and fellows. In 2020, she received the department’s Eugene P. Frenkel Teaching Award. She also participates in the Anticoagulation Safety Workgroup at Parkland Memorial Hospital.

Professional memberships include the Texas Medical Association and the American Society of Hematology. Her clinical and research efforts emphasize translating evidence-based practices into improved patient outcomes for hematologic disorders.
