Siavash Alimadadi

Dr. Siavash Alimadadi is a Researcher at King’s Business School, King’s College London, specializing in Sustainable Business Models, Net Zero strategies, and socio-ecological systems. He holds a PhD in Business Studies from Uppsala University and an MSc in Technological Entrepreneurship from Umeå University and Grenoble Ecole de Management. Prior to academia, he worked as a Management Consultant and Engineer.

His research bridges sociology and management, focusing on how future imaginaries shape collective action in addressing global challenges. He employs qualitative methods like ethnography and longitudinal case studies, exemplified by his three-year study on the UK Houses of Parliament’s Restoration and Renewal program funded by the Jan Wallander and Tom Hedelius Foundation.

Recent work explores transformative business practices for low-carbon futures and radical shifts in disaster risk management. He has contributed to interdisciplinary projects on megaprojects, temporal work, and organizational adaptation to uncertainty.
