Sian Jenkins is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Creative Industries, affiliated with the Social Policy Research and Innovation Group. She serves as Course Leader for the MSc in Applied Health Leadership and previously led the MSc in Human Resource Management. She teaches across postgraduate programs in HRM, Leadership & Management, and undergraduate Business degrees.

She explores the intersection between coaching and counselling and investigates how students can enhance their employability during studies. A current focus includes transitioning counselling approaches into coaching models.
Her professional expertise is further enriched by 10 years of experience in Human Resources, including as an HR Manager in a global organisation, and she operates her own coaching and HR consultancy business.
Sian supervises postgraduate students conducting qualitative and quantitative research in coaching, mentoring, and HRM. Her work contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goal of Quality Education.
