Shuxing Li

Shuxing Li is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Delaware, affiliated with the College of Arts & Sciences. His research focuses on combinatorics and discrete structures with theoretical and practical applications.

• B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Zhejiang University, China

His work explores combinatorial design theory, algebraic coding theory, finite geometry, and communication-related mathematics. Current research is supported by a National Science Foundation grant (DMS-2452236, 2025–2028). Prior appointments include postdoctoral fellowships at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Simon Fraser University, Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg (Alexander von Humboldt Fellow), and the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences.
