Shulamite Odogwu

Dr. Shulamite Odogwu is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Undergraduate Nursing Programs at the University of Mount Saint Vincent's Saint Joseph's School of Nursing. She holds a Doctor of Education in Nursing Education from Northcentral University, a Master of Science in Nursing Education from University of Mount Saint Vincent, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from College of New Rochelle.

Her research focuses on maternal grief and maternity nursing education, particularly exploring the impact of simulation training in managing perinatal loss scenarios. She teaches courses including NURS 451 Nursing Care of the Childbearing Family and integrates clinical expertise from her role as a high-risk obstetric registered nurse.

Professional affiliations include Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society (Eta Sigma Chapter), New York State Nurses Association, and Kappa Delta Pi. She previously served as adjunct faculty at College of New Rochelle and emphasizes humor and clinical experience in pedagogy.
