Shoujin Wang

Shoujin Wang is an Honorary Lecturer at the School of Computing, Macquarie University, Australia. He holds a PhD in Data Science from the University of Technology Sydney (2019) and focuses on real-world applications of data science and artificial intelligence.

Research interests include Data Mining, Machine Learning, Recommender Systems, and Fake News Mitigation. He has published over 40 high-quality papers at premier venues like KDD, AAAI, IJCAI, and in journals such as ACM Computing Surveys (CSUR).

Notable contributions include developing frameworks for unbiased news recommendation and privacy-preserving cross-domain systems. His awards include the 2022 Club Melbourne Fellowship, and he has delivered tutorials at AAAI, IJCAI, SIGIR, and ICDM.
