Dr. Shogo Kudo is an Associate Professor at the Global Studies Program, Faculty of International Liberal Arts, Akita International University. He also serves as a Research Associate at the Center for Asian Studies in Africa, University of Pretoria, and a Research Fellow in the Department of Geography at the University of the Free State.
Research Focus: His work explores sustainable community designs in aging and depopulating rural societies through translocal learning—a methodology for collective knowledge exchange across diverse regions.
