Shivakumar Raman

Shivakumar Raman is the David Ross Boyd Professor and Morris Pitman Professor in the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. He serves as Director and has over 35 years of experience in teaching and research focused on manufacturing processes and systems. As Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-PI, he has secured $22 million through 47 external grants, including 14 from the National Science Foundation and 17 federal grants. His research emphasizes manufacturing process optimization, metrology, and additive manufacturing, leading to innovations like the Shape Engineering for Advanced Manufacturing project and a startup company.

Education: Ph.D. Industrial Engineering (Pennsylvania State University), M.S. Mechanical Engineering (University of Texas at Arlington), B.S. Mechanical Engineering (Shivaji University).
