Shirley Platz

Shirley Platz is an Honorary Lecturer in the Nursing Division at Queen Margaret University. Her career includes roles as a Clinical Psychologist, tutor, and supervisor in Scotland and beyond. She trained in Edinburgh, collaborating with Professor Ivy Blackburn, and has contributed to CBT programs across Lothian, Fife, Glasgow, Tayside, and Dundee. Shirley specialized in supervision training for psychological therapies and CBT, publishing notable papers on supervision competencies and blended learning methodologies. She also expanded access to CBT training through KSA assessment training with BABCP.
