Shikeal Harris

Shikeal Harris is an Assistant Professor and Assistant MSW Program Director at Marshall University's Social Work Department. He also serves as the Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator, actively shaping the next generation of social work practitioners.

• BSW and MSW from Marshall University
• MBA from Northern Kentucky University with concentration in Human Resource Management and Leadership
• Currently pursuing Doctorate in Social Work at University of Alabama

His expertise spans child/adolescent mental health, behavioral health workforce development, and culturally responsive clinical practice. He has coordinated major behavioral health grants and contributed to minority mental health discourse through speaking engagements.

As advisor to Phi Alpha Honor Society and MU Student Social Welfare Organization, he focuses on mentoring future professionals and strengthening the behavioral health pipeline in underserved communities.
